Remember, RW, there are two variations of the M317. The 3-inch gun, with adjustable sights. I have one and really like it a lot. So light you forget it's in your pocket. One of these days I imagine it will go thru the washing machine when I forget to take it out.

There is also a snub nose 2-inch gun that has fixed sights. I forgot to mention it myself in my previous post. It's even lighter.

Older versions of the M317 were made before the lock. If that is important to anyone, those used no lock versions can be found with some patience. You may have to pay something like $100 extra for the privilege, if the seller is educated.
