FWIW I do not believe S&W did the engraving on that. It is not out of reason for the factory to engrave guns for presentation, but most I've seen were done on the right sideplate.

Get the factory letter AND the SWHF documents on that...what your money isnt in the mail yet. If the 5K set you back, I'll loan you the letter money.
