Love that maple. Some call it “Tiger”. But I understand “Fiddleback” because it’s what my German cello was made from, largely. Never understood the appeal of “Birdseye Maple” when you see it against this stuff. But beauty is in the eye...

Anyway, nice stocks.

And Old german carbon steel is the shnizzle.

On top of fine fiddleback maple.
