My first duty holster in 1977 was a Bianchi version of the Burns and Martin front break with the retention strap around the front of the holster, rather than over the hammer. I carried a 4" Model 28 in it, but there were some of my partners that carried 19s 66s and 15s in them, if I recall correctly.
