You are very fortunate to have obtained the the 5" K-38. I was lucky to get a Model 14-2 Hanen/Dayton revolver about two years ago. I thought there would be little difference in the balance/handling between that and my Model 15-4 that I carried when I began my career in LE. I was wrong. The 14-2 is, for me, much more steady and recovers from recoil better.

I can only imagine what your 5" K-38 is like. I hope to obtain one of the 5" K-38's in the future.
