Default Just from what you said....

Oh, first. And a Hound Dawg Howdy to you from SC.

From what you say the mod 19 fits the bill. They are a sought after model. It has the wood grips and not knowing exactly the condition, the price seems good. And you are looking for a .357.

The 19 is not intended for continuous full bore magnum loads, and there is a possibility with light jacketed bullets at full bore, that the flat on the forcing cone can crack. These are just caveats not judgement.

Unless shot with .44 special loads, a .44 takes some getting used to and unless you like hand numbing recoil.

The model 60 is an excellent gun but it is a 5 shot J frame better suited to shooting the .38s than the .357s.
