That's a good price on that M29-10. I have one, and absolutely love it. IMO the N frame is the ultimate configuration for S&W revolvers, and if you want "The Revolver", that's a great place to start. It will put a smile on your face every time you pull the trigger. I have two M19s, and while I love them, they don't get to the range nearly as often as my M29-10, which goes along every time.
That said, unless you compromise and get a soft rubber grip, factory 44 mag is fun to shoot for about one cylinder.
Precision One sells fairly inexpensive 44 SPL that is high quality and hot enough to be fun to shoot.
