The prices for the older big bore revolvers are beginning to push upwards .The days of the 500 dollar big bore revolver in shootable condition are ending .I would say check just like you would any revolver and stay away from " customized" guns unless you can verify the work was done by a reputable shop may even one some of the guys here know of as they will not lead you wrong . Also a big fan of the big bore revolver.
