It is my belief that the 625-2 was only available with a 5" barrel.

The 3" barrel was a factory option starting with the 625-3

A very nice dash 3 with factory combats without a box sold locally for $1000 a few months ago.It sold quickly.

In the early 90s SDM cut barrels to 3" or replaced the longer barrels with 3".SDM was also noted for their gold bead front sight.
