As long as the forcing cone, timing, etc. is good on the Model 19 that's what I'd go with in your situation.

I bought one recently for $450 and love it, I probably won't fire too many magnums through it. But I have no doubt if I decided to fire a few every so often it wouldn't cause any issues. Granted they definitely won't hold up to a steady diet of magnums but I think the issue is a bit overblown.
