Subscriptions, which are recurring automatic payments, quit working some time back. That is, they quit giving automatic credit to the member.

I check donations periodically to make sure members do get credit for them. When I encounter a subscription payment that was not credited, I usually cancel the subscription. The donation is still good for the normal amount of time, but it will not renew automatically.
You can renew it next year manually, and it will positively give you credit.
