I know what you mean by not being able to see the iron sights very well. By the time I get the rear sight in focus I can hardly find the front sight

A while back I picked up a 629 performance center hunter 7 1/2" barrel and it came with a red/green dot scope. What a joy that is to shoot, I can hit clay pigeons at 60 yards with it.
