Prior to 1911 all 22 rimfire S&W revolvers were quite small. West Coast Dealer Philip Bekeart convinced S&W that if they used the 32 I frame and made a 22 LR target revolver he would buy a lot of them. Thus Smith & Wesson developed the 22/32 Heavy Frame Target or Bekeart model. I have one that was first shipped Jan 1917. I did not have a holster for it. Since the 22/32 Targets (model 35) were discontinued in 1973 holsters are not pleantiful. I got this H.H.Heiser Model 418 Holster in Reno.
