It includes charts of all the early models and their specific features up to the 20s, the next versions to the 60s or so, and the later tang safety models. It WAS the definitive word on the 99 until David Royals book came out. David filled in a lot of blanks, but Murray was there before anyone else and deserves recognition for the first real informative material in book form. David 's book lists all the serial numbers/dates of manufacture and things that evolved after Murrays book was printed, not to mention it IS a hardcover and has some nice color pictures and lots of other things. I have them both and they are indispensable for 99 collectors.
