Between the price of the new barrel and paying a GS to properly fit it more than likely does not warrant the cost. Cheaper and (IMO) better to sell your current 6+ inch barrel and buy another Revolver in the length you want. Just my opinion of course......
That is UNLESS the new barrel was super duper cheap (or free) and you can do it yourself.
