Guys I do have one question I would like to talk about . If you look close at the pics you can see that the barrel and frame are different color . The barrel is a blue tint and the frame is more black.

This does not bother me for I bought the gun to shoot. I do not have any reason to believe the gun has been blued . I also realize that the barrel and frame have different heat treatments or hardness. "?"
Did the barrel just blue out during the 38 years or what ?

This is the most pronounced color diff. I have seen on a smith .

Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated .
