Folks say that the .380 blow back barrels are more lightly constructed than other SA barrels that use the linkage system. So its said that you can get barrel bulges and other problems if you push the loads. If you make even a cursory examination of a blow back pistol the thickness of the barrel is clearly thinner than any linked pistol I own. Its one of the reason that you seldom see production models of 9mm luger with the blow back system.
Or so my reading leads me to believe.
