Like my JM stamped Marlin. I'd like to find a Winchester too but they're going for Colt-like prices here in CA.

I had some hard times in the 80's while in Texas and gave my landlord my Ruger 44 carbine for the balance of my rent before I left for CA. Looking back I prefer the Marlin just because of magazine capacity. Still loved that Ruger anyway.
