I have one and had the same issue with the red white blue grips beating up my hands. I switched to a rubber grip made for a S&W Governor from the S&W web store. Worked great can shoot all day. Fit well too. I had mine tuned by T K Custom, made a huge difference. Good luck it’s a great revolver.
