I checked out an Ad in the paper some years ago. It turned out that a lady whose husband had took off with another woman was selling his guns. I bought a Marlin 22 with 4 power three quarter Redfield for $50. There was a Ruger 22 Single Six for $100 but it was pretty rough. She had some shotguns also but dumb me didn't look at them. I guess I was too happy with the Redfield. That evening they were gone.
The Redfield had the adjustment covers missing and I called Redfield and they sent me two, no charge.
