The whole thing doesn't add up.
Hit a car head on at 60MPH and not seriously injured? And only "flew" 20 feet? At 60 MPH you're going to travel a LOT farther than 20 feet - unless you hit a fixed object. If you hit a fixed object at 60 MPH you're going to be seriously hurt - probably mangled.
When I was in high school my old man and I had a front tire blowout and laid his Honda 750 down on the freeway at 60 MPH one time - and I guarantee you we slid and rolled a LOT farther than any 20 feet - more like 75-100 feet.
I'm betting he was doing 60 KPH - which is more like 37 MPH. Easy mistake to make and typical level of accuracy for the press.
