I believe in Alabama a law was passed that a lawful gun inside your car on company property is legally your private property....
based on the right of protection traveling to and from work.
Two words, Liability Insurance.

The company owns the land the car is parked on. They can tell you where to park if they want and the vehicle may even be subject to search.
