I shoot fairly well with either hand (being born left handed in a right hand family made that an option) practice and training contributed to what skill I have. I have carried left / right / shoulder / cross draw / small revolvers / medium revolvers / small autos / med. autos / large autos, whatever was available or appropriate at the time. In recent years, my carry guns have consisted of a J frame (either a 60 or 649) or, in the last year, a SCCY in 9mm. I am not a fan of 9 but like 11 shots in a small gun. I shoot often enough that I stay proficient and accurate out to 25 yrds. The key, IMHO, is to practice and practice from your regular carry position. Oh, and did I mention, PRACTICE!
