Bushmaster M4
The only reason I miss the Bushmaster is because I built it to be as close to an exact clone of a military M4 as possible. Started out as a Patrolman's Carbine. By the time I got through with it the only two Bushmaster parts left on it were the upper and lower receiver. I put $250 14.7" M4 profile barrel on it from Brownell's (which are really nice BTW) and pinned/welded a A2 flash hider on it to bring the barrel out to the legal 16". Put a PSA FA BGC in it, heavy buffer, old-style Fiberlite stock, ALG buffer tube, Colt carry handle, and ALG ACT trigger.
I got it just the way I wanted it then sold it to my stupid brother so I could buy a very nice 1977 Remington 700 BDL "Varmint Special" in .308.......
I love the 700 - it's a MUCH NICER RIFLE than the M4 - but I just regret dumping so much time and effort into the gun only to get rid of it shortly after I had it like I wanted it. It looked like this:
