I have a couple pairs of Propper Genuine Gear, 60/40 ripstop.
Been wearing them a few years, one pair reserved for hot day jobs when I need long pants.
Not hard to find online for under $25 and sized true to fit.
Like Mainsail I remove the Velcro on some of the pockets.
Great value for the price, I just don't need pockets for knee pads.
