I have a 29-6 with round butt. A good friend recently gave me a beautiful set of square butt Presentation grips. I wanted to put them on my 29-6, so I made a filler piece out of a scrap of maple, dyed it black, then fastened it to the left grip panel with a little low strength epoxy so it could be readily removed in the future.
