I agree that you need a revolver. If your take your time,you can find a "cosmetically challenged" K-22 or a pretty nice K frame 38, like a model 10 if you don't want an adjustable rear sight, or model 15 if you do. Of course you might luck upon a .357 in that range and have the option to shoot .357 or 38 specials. You really need to try a single action (Ruger Blackhawk) variant sometime too.

And as mentioned above, you need a shotgun. Even those are fun at the range! Good Luck, and be sure to show it off here. Whatever it is you decide on.
