It's a wood stocked, 223, single shot, 22" stainless contoured barrel (NOT a bull bbl), sporter pistol grip/monte carlo type stock. BBL markings: left side near receiver is BF, right side a 5? inside of an open triangle??? (barrel contour???), a REP inside an oblong circle followed by a C, ser# 0535*B. The receiver is marked only as Remington 40X. I have a copy of the manual but am not sure if it's a 40X rangemaster, BR, OR WHAT? ANY HELP with specific model/age would be GREATLY appreciated.
