Here's my contribution to the 41 magnum! I just shot my 657 for the 1st time, and with some newly purchased Culina combats, no less.
I have to say it was quite a pleasure, shooting some Cowboy loads. I went thur 100 rounds pretty quick, and then shot some 200gr Precision One 44 special, in my 629-4 4" Mountain Revolver (ported) and was surprised, that the 41 magnums were noticeably lighter on recoil.
Perhaps not a surprise to others, all things considered but my thoughts prior to shooting, "I'm probably not going to go thru two boxes, the way this lil gun is going to kick!"
I had two other guns to shoot (29-3 3" & 629-4 4'). Whatta wuss!
Now, I'm thinking about learning to reload in my old ...er senior years!
DoctorFronk, you can still order online ammo, you just need to get an 03FFL & COE. I just renewed my COE with the Politburo, and ordered those cowboy rounds in the pic.
