Howdy everyone,
I have the opportunity to purchase a few law enforcement revolvers. One is a Kansas Highway Patrol marked 686. I could not find any information if they were issued guns or commemorative.

My research has lead me to the 66 being issued and the 586 being a commemorative. The 686 I have come across has the logo on the right hand side.

Any help will be greatly appreciated
