A question on a 657-2 Hunter....

In the SC of S&W 4th edition on page 320/321 there are several references to 6.5" Hunters/Classics with the full underlug barrel. I have one with one of the special edition HTR serial numbers. Does anyone know which gun mine would be?

It is a 6.5" with a fluted cylinder and square butt. Serial number is HTR0005. One just like is pictured on page 321...fluted cylinder and correct Hogue grips.

#103820 describes mine perfectly but this one has a fluted cylinder.

#103958 is an unconfirmed Hunter with a fluted cylinder

#103948 just says Classic Hunter

#170125 is a Lew Horton Special
