I picked up a Model 18 a few years back and had the same problem. Too pretty to shoot. The other day I decided to heck with it, I'm not getting any younger and I want to try it. Grabbed a brick of .22 intending to use only 50 rounds at my range. Didn't work out that way. I burned the entire brick. I might not wear all the blue off, but I decided it was made to be used and I'm going to use (and take care) of it.
