Aaaaand this is why I carry this in my 442-1. The picture with the expanded projectiles is particularly telling. It is the modernized "flying ashtray" like the old backward hollow base wadcutter.

All this "I'm not sure how it really would work" is nonsense when there's data like what Luckygunner has put together. Sure , it's more expensive than LRN or semi-wadcutter ammo, but I'm not sure why anyone would skimp on their carry ammo?

Sure, the old ammo works...it consistently puts .36 wide holes in targets. The HST expands to .73...the same diameter as a 12g shotgun slug. Let that sink in for a minute.
