2 Totally different animals for me. A HD gun has no size/wt limits, an EDC gun here in the south absolutely does. So for me a tiny/light gun in a t-shirt pocket (wallet holster) 24/7 & either a Sig 226 9mm or Sig P220 45acp (in a holster/with no safety) in the bed head board, ready to draw & fire. WHY A HOLSTER? After a bad dream/sleep walking incident where I woke up standing, pointing my 226 into my bedroom closet, I made some changes & even kept the chamber empty for a while. I've only sleep walked twice in my life, THAT I'M AWARE OF. Good to have A BIT of a waking up/getting your bearings deal going on, for me. YMMV.
