If God forbid, I'm ever forced to draw my gun to save my life--so far so good, though it has been dicey a couple of times--it will not be to intimidate an assailant. It will be to very quickly stop the threat to my ancient bacon.

If it has come to that, I see no point in giving an attacker time to observe the bore diameter of my gun, much less check the appearance of the rounds it carries.

I'm old fashioned that way.
