OP here with a quick range report on the new gun. Holy cow it was delivered to my FFL quick enough...ordered Friday evening and at my FFL by 10:45 this morning I ran just 4 mags worth thru it (60 rds). One mag each of factory 124 gr fmj, my reloads of 124 gr plated RN, and 2 of my reloads of 2 different JHP 124 gr. On a side note, the barrel on this gun is somewhat short on the chamber leade just like my 4 inch version. It will not plunk my one JHP load at an OAL of 1.124 like every other 9 mm that I own.
The gun performed perfectly, and below are pics of my 2 targets at 12 yards from a standing 2 hand hold. I can’t say that there is any major difference between this gun and it’s 4 inch brother, but I didn’t have time to do a side by side comparison today.
