I have had probably 5 Glocks over the past five years, ranging from .380-9mm-.45acp. I think everyone should own a Glock (or at least try one out) and just appreciate for what it is. To me it is a tool that under just about any circumstance can either get me home to my family or protect my family. They will never invoke the feeling of my wheel guns, and never shoot as nice as my Dan Wesson 1911. When push comes to shove though my Glock 17 will handle whatever comes my way. Other than that: they are ugly, the trigger sucks, sights are just okay, the ergonomics don't fit most people, the texture of the grip is terrible but these are all things you can adjust or live with when it comes to $500 firearm that gets it done.
