SOLD: Smith & Wesson Model 1917
For sale is a Model 1917 revolver, in the 101XXX serial range. Appears to be a commercial M1917 model (as no military acceptance markings are visible), in excellent condition. The lanyard swivel may have been removed and the hole plugged. The revolver has been professionally reblued—the marks underneath the grips indicate a trip back to Springfield in October of 1963. However the S&W archives aren't digitized up to that year so it's unknown for sure what work was done at the factory. Installed are reproduction smooth wood grips, but I'll include the original checkered grips. SOLD on another forum This revolver is C&R eligible! Ask for more photos.
