Just purchased a Pre-Model 10 Post war and came with an S&W Letter showing serial number c261993 shipped to Marine Corp Supply Annex,Camp Lejeune, NC.4 inch standard barrel,blue finish,butt swivel,checkered walnut square butt grips.Back strap marked U.S. Property.All numbers match including grips.It is in about 75% condition and locks up tight with an excellent bore.Has lanyard ring.Had to give 600.00 for it at local gunshow so was curious of approximate value of this S&W.
