Thanks everyone for your comments. I went ahead and pulled the trigger (pun intended) on this one. No tax and free shipping. $15 FFL transfer.

As for the 442, specs show it's about a 1/2 oz. lighter so I don't think the recoil will be much different between them. My only other revolver is a older 586-2 with a 6" barrel so this will be an interesting endevor.
