Yes I really enjoy mine. I have the 5” classic and reload for it. With the light 10# recoil spring it fires a hot 38+P+ reliably, with the 14# spring it works with light magnums and with the 22# spring it shoots full power magnums comfortably. I also like the more parallel grip of the Coonan vs a normal 1911. No effort needed to activate the grip safety. The factory trigger is also quite good.

I had the compact version as well but traded it as it was not as much fun.
