Tend to agree, except over the years I have heard others remark about deficiencies in the accuracy department with the early guns. It’s true, at least in my case. I obtained one early on and never did find a load that made it purr. (Federal 9BP was the best.) But my 3913s always outshot it by a considerable margin, especially with Federal Hyrda-shoks. I eventually acquired one of the newer ones (with black MIM hammer) and it turned out to be much better. Nothing much has come along in the last twenty years that renders a good 6906 obsolete, IMO.
