Hey Doc,
My only 3rd Gens (so far) are 3913NL and CS9 which I recently had Novak in Parkersburg WV upgrade to low-mount FO fronts.
But I'll bet they could answer your question about dovetail size for your pistol. It seems like a Viper would still sit low even with a mount plate.
Would love to see it if you can make it work.
