On the job I always had my duty weapon and a BUG. Off-duty and now retired it was/is normally one. On rare occasions I may put a something larger than my EDC in the vehicle if I'm going to areas I'm not familiar with or long trips.

The funny thing I see in this thread is those who are critical of those who do carry a second gun. You're using the same arguments as the anti gunners when they criticize people who carry ONE gun (i.e.) "if you need a gun, don't go there", "do you think you're in a war zone" etc...

Sometimes those of us in the gun world eat our own.
