Have been using Pachmayr Presentation grips since 1980. Prefer them for anything other than display of a revolver. For that I buy nice S&W target stocks. Will say, for my 18-3, I have a pair of beautiful target grips that are always installed. Just like the way they feel for shooting, way they look when not shooting. But, if and when I can find a nice set of Pachmayr Presentation grips, I will put them on the 18-3. To many ways to mess up a pretty pair of grips when at the range or out in the woods/fields.
