A round-butt 4-inch Model 624 was never a catalogued item, nor have I ever seen one or heard about one anecdotally. It could be a special order but I don't think the factory was taking single gun orders back then. Much more likely to be a barrel swap, as barrels of all three lengths were available for a time back when these guns were available.
