I was born in D.C. and grew up in it's Md. suburbs. When I got to "gun age" I used to go across the Potomac to Alexandria and ogle the guns for which I had no money to purchase. There were still some cobblestone streets as I recall down by the river where "Ye Old Hunter" - "Hunter's Lodge" was located
