Holy cow, talk about some serrations! That is definitely a unique slide, though I think I like the safety lever mod the best. That actually looks very practical.

Proof that you can never say never with what may have come from the S&W factory; though, as armorer951 mentioned, the absence of any factory marking on the OP's slide would still have me leaning towards an aftermarket job in this case.
