The spokesman for Heritage said they designed it so the Winchester 9422 would fit to give owners the option to change stocks if they wanted to. The ones I have seen in the reviews look like they have nice looking stocks on them. For a all steel gun with a walnut stock at the price they are going for I think they will sell them as fast as they can make them. I have had one of their single action 22's for years, and no telling how many rounds shot it still shoots as good as the first day I got it. Anyone that looks down their noses at the Heritage line has never owned one, no they ain't a Colt, or Ruger, but at the price hard to go wrong.
