I have a Glock 17, 2nd generation. Was a "deal" at a gun show four years ago. I don't like it and won't use it for serious self defense. Don't like the light weight, the plastic, the crummy trigger, or its looks. It's not remarkably sturdy or reliable, no more so than some other automatics. I don't enjoy shooting it as much as the other automatics. For "perfection" it's woefully overrated as a handgun. It's a specimen while it is here and is subject to becoming trading goods.
